It all started with Delhi where you explore the monuments like Red Fort (closed on every Monday) and the famous and the largest mosque Jama Masjid, the crowded street market of Chandni Chowk where you will enjoy the rickshaw ride. Visit Village of Hope foundation which is the largest leprosy colony in Delhi and houses people afflicted by leprosy, the foundation provides job opportunities, provide healthcare, education to children and skills for livelihoods. You will get involve to clean the village, teaching children, bandaging and book buddy.

Jaipur is known by the name of Pink City as well and here you will visit the most famous Amer Fort by elephant located on a hilltop. Also visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar (Solar observatory) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds). Visit Elephant village in Jaipur where elephants as well as mahouts (elephant handler) live, there is a school which is made for children’s of mahouts. Visit Apna Ghar and the famous Keoladeo National Park (Bird Sanctuary) in Bharatpur. Drive towards Agra and visit Agra Fort made of red sandstone and sister monument of the famous Taj Mahal. Also visit the amazing Taj Mahal known as a symbol of eternal love, enjoy train journey with Indian Railways from Agra to Haridwar.

Reach Rishikesh which is The Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas located on the bank of River Ganges and considered to be the spiritual town where one can do Yoga, meditation and adventure activities such as white-water rafting. Here in Rishikesh you will visit some schools where you indulge in some activities like teaching children, painting, plantation, sports activities and understand the education system. Drive to Dehradun where you will visit Tibetan monastery to meet the monks and get to know about their livelihoods, attend Morning Prayer and meditation along with monks. Also visit school in the monastery participates in some activities with the children and understands their culture thoroughly.

Travel with Indian Railways in an overnight train from Dehradun to Delhi and visit a school in Delhi to do some activities with school children and do the shopping at Connaught Place the main shopping hub of Delhi followed by a farewell dinner at the end.

  • DAY 01 - Delhi

    Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel for check-in, afternoon and evening free

    Arrive at the international airport of Delhi. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our KVT’s representative would assist you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free to relax or we can explore the nearby area.

  • DAY 02 - Delhi

    Sightseeing tour of Delhi and evening free

    Today we proceed for the sightseeing tour of Delhi; we start with Jama Masjid, it is the largest mosque of Old Delhi and it was built between 1644 - 1658 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan who built the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Then we visit Red Fort, it was the residence of the Mughal Emperor and the red sandstone walls of the Fort rise 33m high. Then we visit Rajghat which is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi located on the bank of Yamuna River. Afterwards we drive pass through Colonial buildings such as the President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931 and India Gate is a war memorial, also known as ‘All India War Memorial’. India Gate is 42m high located at the centre of New Delhi across Rajpath. Evening we have free time to explore the surrounding area or we can relax at the hotel.

  • DAY 03 - Delhi

    Visit Village of Hope and full day work over there

    Morning we visit Village of Hope; it is a foundation providing shelter, care and job opportunities to people afflicted by leprosy. It is located within the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) leprosy complex in Tahirpur, Delhi; it houses 800 families in 792 houses, making it the largest leprosy colony in the national capital. Morning we work on making crafts like small souvenirs and later in afternoon we enter into the colony and paint the walls and doors of some houses. At the end we play some games in a small school located in the colony with the school children.

  • DAY 04 - Delhi

    Visit Village of Hope and full day work over there

    This day after breakfast we again visit the village of hope and try our hands on dressing some leprosy patients and later we play games with the village children. Afterwards we return to our hotel and relax.

  • DAY 05 - Jaipur

    Drive to Jaipur, afternoon and evening free

    Morning after breakfast we drive to Jaipur (Distance: 280km approx.). We reach Jaipur in the afternoon and check-in to the hotel and relax. Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City and is the colorful capital of Indian state Rajasthan with its rich cultural heritage and colorful past. It is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. Jaipur was established in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II the ruler of Amber and it is also known as 'The City of Victory'; we reach Jaipur and check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for us to relax at the hotel.

  • DAY 06 - Jaipur

    Visit Elephant village and village school which is built for children of mahout

    Today after the breakfast we visit Elephant village (haathi gram), it is the project where elephants, families of elephant owners and mahouts have been shifted and the idea is to accommodate all the elephants and their caretakers at one place. Here a visitor would be provided an opportunity to see the elephant activities together in a cluster and enjoy elephant rides. We also visit the school which is built for children of mahout (elephant handler) and later we return to the hotel and relax.

  • DAY 07 - Jaipur

    Sightseeing tour of Jaipur

    After breakfast we drive to the ancient capital of Amber, 11 km away from Jaipur. Famous for its massive Amber Fort, Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries. We take an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an overwhelming experience. Later, we proceed to the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was specially built as a high screen wall so that the women of royal household could observe the street festivities while nobody can see them from outside.

  • DAY 08 - Jaipur

    Visit Elephant village and village school; evening visit Jaipur market

    Today after breakfast again we visit elephant village and village school to enjoy the overwhelming and splendid experience. Afternoon we return to the hotel and relax. In the evening we visit the local street market to do some shopping, a wide range of handicrafts, Gems, stone, textiles, foot wears are available in the market.

  • DAY 09 - Bharatpur

    Drive to Bharatpur, visit Apna Ghar and afterwards Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

    Morning after breakfast we drive towards Bharatpur (Distance: 200Km approx.). In the afternoon we visit Apna Ghar, Ashram (a destitute home) with the aim to serve the helpless destitute persons who are facing a very painful phase of life. People living here are not relatives; they were the abandoned individuals, till they were brought here. It is providing homage, hope and happiness to homeless, destitute, oppressed, helpless, abandoned, mentally and psychically sick, injured, infected, old aged and dying condition persons. Afterwards we visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park; it is a popular bird sanctuary that is home to many bird species and visited by many migratory birds, which come from as far away as Siberia and Central Asia. These birds stay in the park during winters and return to their breeding grounds. Migratory birds found in the park includes: several species of Cranes, Pelicans, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks, Stints, Wagtails, Warblers, Wheatears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits, etc. After the visit we return to the hotel.

  • DAY 10 - Agra

    Drive to Agra and transfer to hotel; visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal

    This day we drive to Agra (Distance: 55Km), we reach and check-in to the hotel; later we visit the imposing Red Fort of Akbar (also known as Agra Fort), third of the Mughal Emperors, whose mighty red sandstone walls enclose the beautiful white marble Pearl Mosque and the palaces, halls, courtyards and fountains of his sons and successors, Jahangir and Shah Jahan. Then we visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal (remains closed on every Friday). Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love which stands on the banks of River Yamuna; it was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. The Taj Mahal is serenely beautiful and never fails to amaze a first time visitor. After the visit we return to the hotel and relax.

  • DAY 11 - Rishikesh

    Morning train to Haridwar, reach and then drive towards Rishikesh

    Morning we will be transferred to the railway station to catch the train to Haridwar and we enjoy the travel experience with Indian Railways. We reach Haridwar railway station and then drive towards Rishikesh (Distance: 30km). We reach Rishikesh hotel for check-in and relax at the hotel for rest of the day. Rishikesh is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. The whole place is considered to be sacred.

  • DAY 12 - Rishikesh

    Attend Yoga and meditation classes, later visit Aryan Mandir School

    Today morning we learn some techniques of yoga practices which would include Prayers, Asanas for relaxation, Asanas for correction and simple techniques of Pranayama, meditation and Om-chanting. Later we visit Aryan Mandir School (small private secondary school) located at Dhandi Rani Pukhri village; here we will help children in teaching, training and caring for rest of the day, the generous work makes us feel proud for years.

  • DAY 13 - Rishikesh

    Attend yoga and meditation classes, full day work at school and evening drive to Haridwar to watch puja ceremony

    This morning we learn some more techniques of yoga practices which would include Prayers, Asanas for relaxation, Asanas for correction and simple techniques of Pranayama, Meditation and Om-chanting. Later we visit the school and work with school children. Evening we drive towards Haridwar (Distance: 30Km) to watch the evening puja ceremony at Har-Ki-Pauri Ghat on the River Ganges. Later we drive back to Rishikesh.

  • DAY 14 - Rishikesh

    Attend yoga and meditation classes, later work at school and evening visit local families of village

    Today again we attend yoga and meditation classes, the only art to understand yourself. Later we spend the day with school children in activities like sports, painting, plantation, book buddy etc. and later we go for hiking with school children and in the evening we visit local families in villages to understand the culture of Rishikesh.

  • DAY 15 - Rishikesh

    Attend yoga and meditation classes, visit Lal Bahadur Shastri School and work with the school children

    In the morning again we attend yoga and meditation classes, practicing the highest Joy that comes from the realization in direct experience of the center of consciousness. Later we visit Lal Bhadur Shastri School, a well-known school in town. We spend our day with the school children in activities like book buddy, sports and painting etc.

  • DAY 16 - Dehradun

    Attend yoga and meditation classes and drive to Dehradun; visit Tibetan Monastery and school

    This day again we attend our last classes of meditation and yoga, later we visit Mother Miracle School, Rishikesh and enjoy the time with school children. Later we drive towards Dehradun (Distance: 42Km). We reach there and check-in to the hotel; in the afternoon we visit Tibetan Monastery also known as Mindrolling Monastery, it was built in 1965 by Khochhen Rinpoche and a small group of monks. We also visit the World’s largest Stupa and afterwards we will meet the monks at the hostel of the Monastery.

    Visit Tibetan Monastery, do meditation, spend some time at school. Evening board the overnight train to Delhi

    Morning after breakfast we again visit Tibetan monastery and Tibetan school; we will participate in the Morning Prayer ceremony with monks at the monastery and do some meditation. Later we visit school and play some activities with school children. In the evening we will be transferred to the railway station to catch an overnight train to Delhi.

    Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel and rest of the day is free

    Morning we reach Delhi railway station and will be transferred to hotel for check-in; rest of the day is free for us to relax at the hotel or we can explore the surroundings on own.

    Morning visit Venkateshwar International School (Private Senior Secondary school) in south west Delhi; afternoon and evening free

    This morning we visit Venkateshwar International School (Private Senior Secondary school) located in Dwarka (south-west Delhi). We will understand the study system in the metropolitan cities of India and we will explore the School, a short movie followed by group discussion. Then we return to hotel and relax for the day or we can explore the surroundings on own.

    Departure transfer to the International airport of Delhi

    Now today you will be assisted by our KVT’s representative while checking out at the hotel then you will be transferred to the International Airport of Delhi to board the flight for back home.
