Tour Details

Delicacies of cuisines start from Delhi by visiting a popular restaurant and try Wazwan (a multi-course meal in Kashmiri cuisine) and next day visit India Gate, Raj Ghat, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Jama Masjid, Red Fort and then head to Chandni Chowk where you will be visiting the famous Paranthe wali Gali and try some Paranthas (stuffed flatbread). Varanasi where you will visit local market and try some milk products and the famous sweet banarasi paan (made of betel leaves and nuts). Later visit the mesmerizing evening puja ceremony at the Ghats on the banks of river Ganges.

Morning a sailing on the river Ganges during sunrise and capture the beautiful morning sight, also observe the daily routine of locals at the Ghats like taking a dip into the river Ganges and offering prayer to the Sun. An optional trip to Sarnath can be arranged where Buddha gave his 1st sermon to his disciples and it is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage centres in India. Then you get an opportunity to travel with Indian railways from Varanasi to Agra.

In Agra visit Agra Fort also known as Red Fort of Agra and is the sister monument of Taj Mahal, it is also described as a walled palatial city. Later try Peshawari cuisine at Peshawari restaurant; in this cuisines meals are generally cooked in tandoor (Clay oven) and next morning visit Taj Mahal during sunrise and enjoy the astonishing beauty of white marble tomb also known as symbol of eternal love.

While driving towards Jaipur en-route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri and in Jaipur visit Amer Fort located on a hilltop, then City palace and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Drive to Choki dhani an ethnic resort in Jaipur which gives a good experience to observe Rajasthani culture and the food as well. Next day visit local spice market in Jaipur and evening participate in cooking classes of Rajasthani cuisine.

On the way back to Delhi you visit local government school and meet the kids of the school. In Delhi you can do the last minute shopping and next day fly back home as trip ends.

  • DAY 01 - Delhi

    Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel.

    Arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi our KVT’s representative will meet and greet you there and would assist you at the airport. Later board the vehicle and transfer to hotel for check-in. Evening we visit “Chor Bizarre” a popular authentic Indian cuisine restaurant, which serves from the traditional Wazwan to tandoori and Mughlai dishes. Wazwan is a multi-course meal in Kashmiri cuisine, the preparation of which is considered an art and a point of pride in Kashmiri culture and identity.

  • DAY 02 - Delhi

    Delhi Sightseeing

    Today we will do sightseeing of Delhi including Rajghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, drive pass through India gate, Sikh’s worship place “Gurudwara Bangla Sahib”, Red Fort (Closed on every Monday) and Government buildings. Then we head to Jama Masjid which is the largest mosque of India; it is located in Old Delhi next to Chandni Chowk. Chandni Chowk is a best place for shopping among Indians; then we visit Paranthe wali Gali to experience the mouthwatering pranthas. In the evening we experience some south Indian dishes in dinner at a popular South Indian restaurant.

  • DAY 03 - Varanasi

    Fly to Varanasi, evening attend a puja ceremony

    In the morning after breakfast we will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in and relax. Evening we walk in the streets of local market and try some famous milk products like lassi, often served with sugar or salt, Rabri, sweetened milk served in earthen bowls, thandai, rosgullas, sandesh, chamcham and pedas made with khoa and it all ends with a Banarasi Mitha (Sweet) paan (made of betel leaves and nuts) a mouthwatering mouth freshener. Evening we drive to main Ghat on the Ganges to witness the evening puja ceremony.

  • DAY 04 - Varanasi

    Morning boat ride on River Ganges; evening overnight train to Agra

    This morning we start our day with a boat ride on the River Ganges. We will witness the daily miracle to unfold, as the Sun appears victoriously over the skyline. During Afternoon an optional visit to Sarnath can be arranged where we can visit Stupa, where Buddha gave his first sermon and also visit historical Museum and Buddhist temple. Late evening we will be transferred to the railway station to catch the overnight train to Agra.

  • DAY 05 - Agra

    Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel, visit Agra Fort

    Morning we reach Agra and will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and relax. In the afternoon we visit Agra fort, whose mighty red sandstone walls enclose the beautiful white marble Pearl Mosque and the palaces, halls, courtyards and fountains of his sons and successors, Jahangir and Shah Jahan respectively. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. Evening enjoy Peshawari cuisine in Peshawari restaurant. This cuisine uses the simplistic style of preparation, where large chunks of meat, seafood and vegetables are marinated sparingly and cooked in the clay tandoor at high temperatures so that they remain tender and succulent.

  • DAY 06 - Jaipur

    Visit Taj Mahal and drive to Jaipur en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri

    Today early morning we visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal at sunrise (remains closed on Friday). Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. The Taj Mahal is serenely beautiful and never fails to amaze a first time visitor. Afternoon we drive to Jaipur (Distance: 250Kms appx); en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted royal city constructed by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. This impressive and well-preserved citadel served as the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under Akbar's reign, from the year 1571 until 1585. But this magnificence only lasted 14 years, as in 1585 Akbar left Fatehpur Sikri abandoned due to lack of water. Later we continue our drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

  • DAY 07 - Jaipur

    Jaipur sightseeing

    Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, is the colorful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich cultural heritage and colorful past, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. Jaipur was the first planned city of its time with imposing forts, dazzling palaces, beautiful gardens and markets. After breakfast we drive to the ancient capital of Amer, 11km away from Jaipur. Famous for its massive Amer Fort, Amer was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries. We take an elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on a hill top, later we visit an emporium where we witness an overwhelming experience and demonstration of Carpet weaving and block printing in Jaipur. Later, we proceed to the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market without being seen by the world through its 953 stone Jharokas (mini windows). Evening we drive to Chokhi Dhani, renowned for the mouthwatering and typical Rajasthani food, served to you on a leaf platter in the tradition of Manuhaar.

  • DAY 08 - Jaipur

    Jaipur, participate in a live cooking class

    During morning we will explore local spice market of Jaipur, generally used in cooking of Rajasthani dishes; here we can buy some famous spices of India. Rajasthani ethnic dishes are Dalbatti Churma, mawa kachori, Ghewar etc. In the evening we participate in cooking classes of Rajasthani Cuisine under the supervision of Chef.

  • DAY 09 - Delhi

    Drive to Delhi en-route visit local Govt. School

    Morning we drive from Jaipur to Delhi (Distance: 280Kms appx) en-route visit local Govt. School, to understand the education system of India and chance to meet kids of different age groups and culture. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel and relax, evening you can explore the local markets of Delhi to do the last minute shopping.

    Departure transfer to airport to catch flight back home

    Today, you will be transferred to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi to board the flight for your onward destination.
