Tour Summary
We will travel from Delhi by car/coach to Simla, capital of Himachal Pradesh. On the following day we will travel by coach on the Hindustan Tibet highway to Sarahan, the starting point of our biking trip and home to the picturesque Bhimakali Temple (famous for its unique blend of Buddhist and Hindu architecture).

After a nights halt at Sarahan, we will set on our bikes accompanied by a support vehicle. The journey will take us through the beautiful Kinnaur and Spiti valleys along the banks of River Sutlej and Spiti respectively. We will pass through the apple orchards of Kinnaur and its lush green environs, which will gradually transform into the barren mountainous landscape as we approach Spiti.

The trip showcases some of the best sites to witness Tibetan Buddhism practiced in its utmost original form in some of the most ancient and remote monasteries we will be visiting.

From the renowned wall paintings at Tabo monastery to the spectacular views from Dhankar, the whole experience is indeed very tranquil and fulfilling. We will spend a few nights at Kaza, visiting the famous Ki monastery and Kibber village, the highest permanently occupied village connected by road.

Our tour will further take us through upper Spiti, considered to be any mountain bikers dream. Amidst the barren landscapes, we will seeing incredible rock formations and sandstone scenery and finally cross over Kunzum La (4551M) to enter the scenic Lahaul valley.

Continuing along the Chandra River we will finally cross Rohtang pass (13050 ft.) to reach the popular hill-station town of Manali. After a days rest in Manali, we will drive to Delhi where we will have a chance for a return trip to Agra visitng the magnificient Taj Mahal.
