| Responsible Tourism |

As a responsible tour operator, we at KVT are proud that our business, as a part of the global tourism industry plays an important role as a positive economic driver providing commercial benefit and financial impetus to the communities and areas we operate in.
Whilst recognizing this importance of tourism for economic upliftment, we are also aware of the potential impact of our activities on the local environment and communities and as a result we are always trying to strike a good balance in our operations to maximize the positive benefits and minimize any impact.
Over the years we have made great strides in ensuring that a Responsible Travel policy is integrated into all aspects of our operation and decision-making.
Some of the proactive steps we have taken in this direction include appointing a Responsible Travel coordinator in the management, training our staff on sustainable policies, reviewing the impact of our operations and contributing to various conservation projects and initiatives that promote sustainable tourism.
In partnership with Friends of Conservation, UK, KVT has been directly involved in Tiger conservation projects in India and also contributed in various educational and healthcare initiatives for the local communities around Bhandavgarh National Park.
As a signatory to the Himalayan code of conduct, KVT has been actively involved in Clean the Himalayas campaign and adheres to “Leave No Trace” philosophy in all our adventure operations.
Together with the support and guidance of our customers and partners, we aim to build a tourism industry which brings pleasure to those who travel with it, a future to the places and the people who provide it and value to all those who are involved in supplying it.
